Both guns are 28" straight grips, standard wood, double triggers, swamped rib, standard LOP. One has a gray receiver the other is blued. One a splinter the other a beavertail. It complicates the choice I know but at least I didn't ask from pictures of the guts.

The pose is great though.

It's just a pose. We all know you only shoot O/U's, and poorly at that.

The Royal light, certainly a contender has been trumped 2 years running by uglier yet firearms. As for the pose Jack has never come to the shoot to set the standards high. If you've seen the shooting stances of the rest of the participants it's above average.

I think Harwood has to get credit for the best shooting "pose" as in leaning too far forward on one of the stands (about #8, I think) and causing it to collapse.
