As it is Flatwater week, some inquiring minds have been trying to pry out of me a sneek preview of this year's costume. Well, here's a shot of one of the accessories being turned on the lathe...
I will also say that this year's accoutrements pose some risk for the wearer...

Will the grain be clearly visible due to a lack of surface texturing on the accessory?

Not big enough for the size bat you would need for me. My wife and several others have, in all seriousness, voiced concern for my well-being with this outfit.

Mike, will you have a wood repair kit along? Dog chewed up the ash wood handle on my knife, nothing really bad but roughed it up a bit.
