The Guns of Flatwater.. While it is impossible to choose...

While it is hard to choose or to compare one to another---Doug's high-dollar Purdeys to Brent XVI's memerising 16g. bolt-action gun to Bruce Day's Damascus-barreled Parker, for example-- what struck your fancy this trip?
I personally liked Bluerock Brimley's Greenwood-restocked fine Perrazzi SC3, though his eye-catching Green-color-stocked 390 is not to be overlooked. Or Bob Egbert's mighty 10 gauge. Or the really light model 21's of Milton and KGB. Or the hammer guns. Or ..
Well, what guns will you remember? It isn't that you want to own one right now --I still like my highly-experienced Superposed, for example, and what would I do with a 10 gauge?-- , but what was memorable to you this year? Other than brent's bolt-action gun, I mean.

Bob's Fox upgrade. It even has the right breed of dogs engraved on the frame.

I missed that one, do you mean to say there were Gordons on that Fox?
My favorite was the Dickson round action gun.

The Manton, until I had to clean it.

I'm still not sure. I think it's sensory overload.
I have to say firing the Manton was quite an experience. WOW!
And I did help Tiny clean it, someone had to take the pictures.

I vote for Bob's restored 20ga Fox. I tried to get Bob to arm wrestle me for it, but he would not accept the challenge. Don't blame him; I wouldn't take the chance.
Bob, now look what you have done. I must go out and find me one.

I passed on a 20ga sterlingworth that begged for that attention, reblue, recolor, new wood. Voss tried and tried to force that gun on me, I survived the attempts. It is wonderful to see how it would have looked and not have had to spend the cash.
Thank you very, very much Bob!

For me it was shooting Thinman's Browning Double Automatic converted from 12 to 16 bore. It is a prototype, and it did have a couple of minor glitches-which will be ironed out. I simply couldn't miss with it.
Also, shooting Kirk's 21 was another highlight. That gun loves me- and I it!
I won't say I'm jaded by all the other fine guns and shooters at this event, but I will say that I am proud to know all you fine gentlemen and share a brief time with you and your exqusite firearms.

Which one? There were three.
The one I picked up off of the pool table. Only saw the one round action.

Sixteen is the age of consent in Nebraska. Last year she was only fifteen.
