If someone would be kind enough to bring a barrel thickness gauge and a bore diameter gauge I'd be obliged. I have a gun with barrels far too good for its age and I wondered if they had been honed.
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, I know the Iowegian detachment will have at least one bore/choke gauge. Wall thickness gauge . . . I'm not sure. However, if the barrel is marked with the original gauge (or subdivision, such as 13/1), a bore gauge will tell you whether it's been honed to the point that it's no longer in proof.

Mine measures only 12's and 16's, but I should have it along as well. Mike, if I bring a box of 28's can I try your autosmasher? I won't care what the choke is.
