I just discovered that Alberta Distillers are releasing a very limited amount of 30 year old pure Canadian Rye Whisky. $60.00 a bottle.
I'll see if I can snag a bottle to bring along

Well I suppose I could stop in Grand Forks and pick up a gal student from UND, I find they do like my accent when serving my steaks at my favourite Fargo restaurant! Just like James Bond, they tell their buddies!

Bring any and all samples....do they produce 50ml bottles of any of the rare ones? In trying out Canadian/Canadian style whiskies I've found a decent variety of the common stuff without having to buy a full sizer of any (except Forty Creek).

Kirk, I'll check that out on Monday when I'm in Winnipeg where the big Govt liquor stores are.
