OK gents...back safely yesterday evening, and after a morning conference, safely ensconced back in the office.

What a GREAT shoot! Good friends, good guns, good shooting, good humor, good food and drink!! What's not to like?? As always a good time! Thanks to the Commisar, Voss, our always-genial and accomodating host Larry the Digger, for another great shoot!! :D

Gosh he's getting big and handsome.

Just back from his 15 mo. appointment. 31.5" tall and 23.5 pounds! He was 19" and 6lb 4 oz or 10th percentile when born. He soon grew to 25th percentile for both and is now in the 50th for height! Growing like a weed.

We have a saying in the race horse business; Good babies have good mommas!

The lad proves the saying applies to more than colts.

Ok, next year, I?m going. If for no other reason than all you guys will make me look skinny! Unless Finkel shows up; that is.

I love Finkel; he gives me free books. They are a bit dry; but when you can't get to sleep at night...

The Koik Club: those who, every year, say they're going to make it next year for sure, but somehow never do.

Koik hasn't promised to attend in years. But, we'll see some of you at the UP Shoot.

Does this mean I've been "Koiked"? Or, I may be a "Koiker"? Better yet, I've just received a "Koik-job"? Or worse yet, I've given one.
