Given that only one of the Iowegians is a bachelor, the rest all having "veteran" spouses and the Iowa Supreme Court not yet having seen fit to legalize polygamy--but it can't be far away, because they've stated clearly that they believe in equal protection, and we do have some Muslim and Mormon residents--there won't be any new spouses. And unlike TX and NE, we Iowans at least don't find potential spouses at family reunions.
That being said, unless the Iowa legislature does something within the next 3 weeks--highly unlikely, with both houses controlled by Dems and a Dem governor--Des Moines may very soon be the gay version of Las Vegas.
