We shoot golf balls out of my uncle's cannon but have yet to see one land, even over a plowed field. Lately, we have skipped projectiles and just enjoy the BANG, smoke, and muzzle flash. Shots at night are impressive.

I fired one once. PVC pipe for the barrel. bigger one for the chamber, Spray hair lacquer for the propellant
a Coleman lantern igniter with a flint for ignition. Total Fun!!

I have a mold for a 38MM ball - it cuts into the Lead Stocks severly.
