Sixteen Gage Shells

#1 Post by Pancho McTavish »

I was just going through my safe deciding what to bring and I found a little less than a flat and a half of 16g shells. I am no longer the owner of even one 16g gun so these are excess to my basic load now. These are 2 1/2" low pressure shells from RST and Westley Richards with #8 shot suitable for any vintage 16g gun.

If I brought them to Flatwater, would anyone be interested in them at $8 a box? There are actually 13 full boxes and 1 partial.

See you Friday PM.

I was under the impression that 16-gauge guns don't require shells. Just point the magic 16-gauge wand at your target and it falls lifeless to the earth. Oh, the glory! Oh, the perfection! :P (Just warming up my Flatwater banter).

Stem you may be correct. But we like the sound of the shells going, "BANG." Kinda like Cops and Robbers when you were a kid! And we don't want to let non 16g Fraternity members in to the know. And yes, we have secret passwords, and a handshake.

If you ask we might allow you to join....I just hope nobody black balls you!
