This is just beyond my understanding. Pete would be perfectly accepted in a Flatwater gathering. The prohibition on political discussion would protect him from himself. I know a number of Flatwater brethren had off-board friendships with Ron White, the grandfather of liberal apologists, and he was quite well accepted. He even had a job in the satanic cult of the Jimmy Carter Administration.

gender change
Gender is a grammatical term, used erroneously to denote sex (as in male/ female). Besides, the majority of Americans voted for change.

Mike, there's long been suspicion that Voss was of the neuter gender, although his relationship with Miss Connie seems to offer some evidence to the contrary.

When I first met him he was happily single, resisting all attempts of his single female next door neighbor to set him up with her friends. I think he started doing it to her to get her to stop. At that time in his life I might have suspected he'd been neutered, but I have been disavowed of that inference.
