Special Called Meeting

#1 Post by Joe Cool »

Pursuant to Nebraska Statutes and the duly enacted bylaws of the Flatwater Gentlemen's Shooting Club (A bunch of GREAT Americans!) notice is hereby given of a special called meeting.

More particularly, the "Northern Branch" of the "Great Southern Division" of the club will hold a special meeting on Saturday August 9, 2008 at Washburn Shooting Club in Washburn, Missouri commencing at 9 AM. Business will be discussed for at least 30 seconds at Stand One before adjournment into the social activities with the first shout of "PULL!"...

Those expected to attend include that well-known bunch of social reprobates: Birddogbrewer, Dr. Bob"10 Gauge" Egbert, Rob "Cynergy 12 Gauge" Wood, "Thinman Charles Hammack" and his sidekick "16 Gauge Ben" as well as your humble but handsome scribe, Atticus Finch.

Weather is supposed to cool off nicely down here later this week, with a late afternoon high for Saturday of upper 80s to possibly around 90. By shooting in the morning, we should be able to get 200 targets done by sometime around the lunch hour and head out for some refreshment thereafter. Club rate is $27.50 per hundred with a discount on the second hundred.

If any other board members are interested in attending, by all means let me know! I'll be pleased to send you directions to the club. You will be made most welcome at our lil' informal shoot and lying session!

For reference as to location, the club is about 45 minutes southeast of Joplin, Mo. Hope to see more "board pals" there!

If this was in 2009, the post might apply.
