Bring the Boy Scouts up to Flatwater. We could help with the instruction and they could earn those coveted merit badges in Booze, BS'ing, and enduring the Blather of old men. On second thought, they are much better off at Powder Creek. We will miss your esteemed presence.

Bet that weekend of instruction is worth missing a lot to make happen.

My rifleman buddy pulled one of those root disruptions as well and is a South Dakotan now. Western side, too. Gives us new places to visit, though!

The numbers advantage could go either way there Rock. Remember we have a whole van full coming from Missouri. Hard to tell where loyalties lie with Missourians and you know they'll switch sides at the drop of a hat.

Well, I will be working through the Flatwater weekend. I'm really disappointed. I look forward to this all year. I will miss all the regulars and miss meeting the newcomers. Someone please eat a medium-rare steak for me. Mike Bonner had asked me to try and get a hat for him. He will be moving farther away and this would probably been his last Flatwater if he'd been able to make it. Maybe Voss or someone could put a hat away for Mikey. I'll be thinking about you guys.

We were briefly at five, but I'm the one dropping out.

For two years, I have been working to establish a native grass pasture on my property. Last year was a poor year to start a new pasture in my area. Currently, I have a lot of winter grass, weeds, and dry grass from last year. The best help for new grass this growing season is flash grazing. My neighbor is bringing in eighty 400-450 heifers this weekend, so I want to be around to help check fences, etc. Eighty heifers on between 25 and 30 acres should take care of the grass fairly quickly. Then some timely rain would really be nice.

I know y'all are capable of having a good time without me, so carry on. I will miss seeing everyone and regret not meeting bigtex and Setters Forever.

It still looks like 4 from Texas. With Tinys absence, Whom will being wearing the attire we have come to expect from the great state of Texas that wingshooter has always arrived in. Ya all have a reputation to uphold.
I think you mean "tumblers"
