WOW!!!

#1 Post by Digger »

Are own forum . Heck this calls for some updates . Pulled all the sporting clays machines and benches and gun racks and trash cans ands moved all the shooting stands. We were going to burn the fields today .
Well mother nature thought we should wait .
Pete's pic still greets patrons. New deer bronze is on the fireplace. All the cement blocks were delivered for the retaining wall. All the new culverts are in.
Sand and gravel is sitting in the parking lot waiting for the cement guy so we can level and pour the outside run on the new kennels.
New dogs include one english pointer and one german shothair. Clubhouse looks like a bomb went off in it ,wait thats not new. Was a bad year for bird hunting , worst numbers I have ever put together. Some was the result of weather and some from the slowing dollar. CRP is being pulled out all over. And tree lines leveled.
We have about 23 kids shooting 1 to 2 times a week . And no one shooting sportintg clays. Seems funny ,as bad as numbers are, each time I have the dogs out I thank God for this great life . FLATWATER ONE WEEK !!!!!! I really enjoy this event .

Yahoo, Larry! I'm about as ready for the shoot as you are! Good friends and a lot of fun...works for me!

Hey, I heard a rumor that Birddogbrewer was gonna bring up a pony keg of private stock from the brewery. OMG!!! If true, Lord help us all!! What about it, Ash?

BDB, my two favorite kinds of beer are cold and free. If you make me pick I'll take a free one 'cause I can always put it on ice.

Steve,

Is Flatwater going to conflict with your AA meetings? Oh wait, I forgot, you think that AA is for quitters!

Home brewed Pale Ale - With just the right Hop balance for Steak!
5 gal cornelius Keg. I'll bring the tap and CO2. I guess that means I need to get a new batch brewing.

Voss are you including yourself with us (the beer drinkers) or everyone else (those who don't get any)? I know Atticus and I will have a pint or three, we'll be minding our P's and Q's.

I knew you were narrow minded. Beer, Wine, and Whisky? What about Tequila, Vodka, Gin, Brandy? So many potables! don't limit yourself! Explore new things. I guess if I had to limit myself, not a bad three.

I remember growing up and my father used to have "Water Conservation Meetings," I always got to Bartend. I think I poured my first drink before I was ten. Jack and Water. Dad still drinks it, and now so do I. Paid my way through college slinging booze. (Coy's Place--remember it Atticus?)

Look forward to meeting this crew of miscreants!
