For those who have not yet attended the FLATWATER shoot, a bit of explanation may be helpful.

No scores are counted, as it is a fun shoot.

It is common to have one or two "backup shooters" adjacent to the primary shooter. The backup shooter is there to break the clay, in case the primary shooter might happen to miss. HOWEVER, sometimes the backup shooter fires first, thus depriving the primary shooter of the opportunity to hit/miss that particular clay. Messers Voss and Brown delight on this game.

Perhaps that will make the activities in this film clearer to any novices.

Personally, I miss often enough that the backup shooters are presented with a "Target-Rich-Environment."

The cinematographer's aim is a bit low at times. The movie may be better titled, "Butts and guts."
