Are we skipping Easter weekend and going with the 29-30 April-1 May dates? Thanks.

The weekend before is Palm Sunday. I would lean towards the weekend after. As vocal as I've been over how much I enjoy Flatwater, I would have to stay home if it were Palm Sunday weekend.

Two weeks later=slightly improved chances for better weather. I'd go with the weekend after Easter.

First Saturday in May is Derby Day. I couldn't make it.

Last Sat in April is the 30th. Usual Flatwater date--last weekend in April. So, we have a split weekend: April 30/May 1. That's also the weekend following Easter. So it avoids all religious holidays, including Derby Day. Sounds good to me.

If people would simply read what I posted..... Apr. 29/30 and 1 May for the Fri./Sat./Sun. dates. Larry, it's usually the last full weekend in April.

Uh . . . we got that, Stack. That's why the confusion and concern, since the last full weekend is Easter and the weekend after is only half in April.

Aiming for the low ground? Good luck, it's heavily populated with guns to make a JCH pump look like a Cosmi. :D One of those might be there for reference again, too.

As for outshooting, who would know? Only Larry Brown keeps score!
