Bluerock runs that bolt action 16 gauge pretty well. He'd give Big Steve a run.

It ain't me, babe. That'd be far too humbling. Especially at a chandelle station.

OK, so we have a date.
We in Canada mostly think Easter should be a fixed date, in this day and age, what do you chaps think?

Didn’t you hear? Easter was cancelled; they found the body.

You heard about the three guys up for graduation at the seminary down in TX? They all had to pass a final oral exam with the board. The question was . . . explain Easter to us.

First candidate comes in. "Easter . . . let's see . . . that's when we have the decorated tree, and Santa comes . . . " One down.

Second candidate: "Easter . . . that's when they shoot off fireworks and have a big parade . . . " Two down.

Third candidate, by which time the board is worried about having any graduates: "Easter . . . that's when they crucified Jesus . . . " "Yes, yes!" say the board members. "Then they put him in his tomb . . . " "Yes, yes!" "And three days later, an angel came and rolled the stone away . . . " "Yes, yes!" "And Jesus came out, saw his shadow, and they had 6 more weeks of winter."

It's almost 1300 miles from me. Long drive. Dang!

Might be time to resurrect the Nor'Easter shoot.

Last year Pancho came from Honolulu and Don Amos from No. Carolina. It's not too far.

Once again, the 29th, 30th of April and May Day misses both Easter and Derby Day.
