Ruf, Flatwater isn't a date, it's a state of mind. :D

Though Voss did bring a date once.

Everyone is welcome at Flatwater. Heck, they even let me in. The rules are as follows; Rule number one - no discussion of politics. Rule number two - you must shoot the course with a hunting shotgun or face ridicule. Rule number three - bring your appetite for steak and Stack's potato salad. Rule number four - bring a bottle of your favorite to place on the table to share after the guns are put away. Rule number five - no discussion of politics. Rule number six - there is no rule number six. Rule number seven - be gracious and prepared to handle a good many beautiful guns whose owners are also very gracious. Rule number eight - be prepared to make a lot of new friends from among the people who post here. Rule number nine - no discussion of politics. This is an international shoot with some folks coming in from other countries like Hawaii and Canada.   I think that about covers it.

Grandpa's Sporting Acres, Syracuse, Nebraska. I think the name Nebraska might mean flat water or some such thing, hence the name of the event. It is more than just a chance for a bunch of us to get together. It is a fund raising event to help young shooters. If you come once, you'll be back.

Us Texicans travel in style and are THE largest contingent in ALL states.

No brag, just fact.

Which method of travel do you come by Gulfstream V, private train car, or Prevost?

Prevost, no, but a variant thereof. However, a Gulfstream is a good idea.
